Beauty in Your Eyes
I often believed that if I looked different I would feel better about myself. I decided to exercise, become toned and smaller when spring arrived. Spring has finally arrived!
I did not lose a pound, but I noticed one thing. I am beautiful! My eyes without fake lashes are beautiful; body frame, still large, is covered with smooth skin; hair is still short, but can withstand the different temperature changes.
People pay thousands of dollars daily to try and achieve the full lips God blessed us with from birth. Our beautiful brown eyes do not require contacts. Our short hair, during the hot days of summer, does not have to be tied off our necks. We are beautiful.
You have beauty given to you by God that no one can match. Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is not the hair, eye lashes, or make-up that built my self-esteem and made me feel beautiful. It is my knowing that God made me who I am. You are beautiful. The beauty of God flows from within me outward. We have no reason to add anything to the natural beauty that God has provided us. As you brush your teeth, look in the mirror, notice the most beautiful person you know. You walk with self-confidence because you are a beautiful creation from God.
