Overcome with Gratefulness to the One Who Saved Me
I cannot measure or count the many ways of how good God has been. First and foremost, I am breathing and alive to type into this document and share with each of you my gratefulness and thankfulness to my Savior. In 2019, God granted me more time with my husband, a diabetic who had a heart attack at the age of 48, a week before Thanksgiving. A year later, he underwent a 6-hour surgery, lost over 200 pounds, and received a diabetes-free diagnosis. What a miracle!
Just before the pandemic, I was exhausted. When I received notification to go home for two weeks, little did I know it would be for a year and several months. During these months, I was able to catch my breath and spend needed time with family. This season was not without challenges, however. My mother-in-law contracted COVID. She lay in a hospital bed by herself for months on a ventilator and struggled through rehab. Jehovah Jireh was on the scene, and she is still alive and here with us today.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
God is faithful. It is my obligation and pleasure as His child to be thankful.
