True Love

We are all searching for love, we need it. But many of us search for love in the wrong places. We look to humans to supply our need for love. As children, we look to our parents for our love. For many, that works, but some parents are not able to give their children the love they need for various reasons leaving a void in their child’s life. As teens we start looking to boyfriends for love. You give your all to your boyfriend, including your body, because he loves you. But then your relationship fades, and your need for love remains.

A lot of single young ladies are now getting pregnant at early ages. Some believe that the new life growing inside of them will provide the love they need, but reality shows that the baby is a LOT of work and your new precious life doesn’t fill the love gap. Then you think that the baby will encourage the baby’s daddy to come around more to spend time with his child and you, until you find out that doesn’t work either as he has other women and babies, on the side, leaving you starving for love.

The only place for true love is with God. The Bible says in Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” You see, God did not wait for us to show how much we love Him before He showed us how much He loves us. He will always love you, He always has; He can fill the love void in your life if you let Him into your heart.
