The Best Relationship Book
My friends keep telling me about all these different books that tell women how to manage their love lives. I tend to pay little attention to the latest and greatest promoted books. Don’t get me wrong. I love wisdom. But I have trouble figuring out which books actually possess it.
Instead of sharing wise advice, sometimes authors tell us what we want to hear. They tell us how to get a man and keep him without having to do too much work or abstain from satisfying our sexual desires. We search all of these new methods of attraction because we don’t want to do things “the old fashion way.”
Of course back in the day families stayed together more and we wonder why. We become more and more amazed at the divorce rate and the number of children raised in single parent homes. Do you ever stop to wonder why?” Perhaps these new methods have produced these new results. We think, “Maybe this time if we think more like a man the results will change.” If not, another book will be out soon.
How about this? What about trying something old that works from an old book that’s still relevant? The Bible says in Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” In other words, when we submit to God’s will, we learn His wisdom. What He says may not be what you want to hear, but He delivers on His promises—wisdom with a guarantee.
