What a Day!

What a day! I lost my homework, I have to go to work, and I am out of gas! What else could go wrong today!!I just need some time to sit and clear my mind, but it never ends! Now if I don’t find time to study, I will do poorly on another test and I cannot afford to lose my scholarship! I am barely making ends meet as it is. And to top it all off, my boyfriend keeps complaining that I don’t have any time for him! What am I going to do!?! Does this sound familiar to you? Have you had a time in your life when you were so stressed out that you didn’t know what to do first because you had so many things to do? Stress can cause you both physical and mental harm. Stress can cause you not to get the proper amount of sleep and therefore, not function as effectively as you should, leaving you even more worn out and frustrated. When you find yourself stressed out, take some time to pray, even if it is just for a minute. Ask God to help you prioritize your day as well as see what things you can get rid of. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Let God lead you to a more peaceful life. He loves you and desires the best for you.
