Imperfect People

Do you think that God cannot use you because of the things you have done in the past, or are currently doing?  I have come to the realization that God does not need perfect people as no human being He created is or has been perfect.  Starting with Adam and Eve all the way to you and me living right now, no one has been or will be perfect.  The only perfect person who lived on earth was Jesus Christ and He is perfect because He is God.

So what is God thinking when He creates imperfect people?  What purpose do imperfect people have?  They have a testimony, a story to share with other imperfect people about how Jesus changed their lives and then they encourage others trying to make similar changes.   For the Bible says in Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Wow!  So your sordid past can have a positive outcome.   Your mistakes can help someone else.  Sister, you can be used by God!!!  God has a purpose and a plan for your life- just ask Him!
