Waiting Is Not So Bad
So you say you’ve been waiting for a man. You are not alone. However, some women have made a conscious decision to not waste time with Mr. Right Now, but to wait for Mr. Right. They manage to be successful by keeping busy. You’ve heard the saying “an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” There is always something going on and lots of opportunities to learn something new.
Where do I begin you ask? You can start by getting to know you, the real you. What do you like or dislike? What are your goals and dreams? What can you live with or live without? Challenge yourself and grow. Get motivated, get moving and get in shape, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. Learn to live life to the fullest and appreciate the season that you are in. After all you are a whole person all by yourself. Individuals may compliment you, but they are not meant to complete you. Only God can do that.
Even though waiting sometimes can be hard, we do not wait without hope. When we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, He strengthens us so that we can wait. Isaiah 40:31 says it best… “but they that wait on the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
So while you wait, allow God to do a work in you so that you can become the best that you can be.
