God Created…

Self Esteem! When we see those two words we become afraid. Why? Self-esteem is what you think about yourself, not what others think. It is how you view yourself.

Everyday you may see people on TV, in magazines, on the Internet…all over, that are size 0 and appear to be flawless. However, you don’t know if they are happy. Some constantly trying to keep up an image that does not exist. You may not have been created to be a size 0, but you were created for a purpose.

Remember, God created you. What God creates, He deems good. Therefore, you are beautiful. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise You [God] because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” We may have many flaws. We have rebelled against God and we need Him to save us because of our sin. But, what He created in you cannot be duplicated. There is no one who has your hair, your beautiful eyes, your lips and your smile. You do not have to make changes to yourself because God has provided you with all that you need.

I tried changing to fit the world and realized that I was happy only when I allowed the world to see the greatness of God through me. You are beautiful in God’s eyes. Share your love of life with others daily for God was showing off when He made you. Do not be afraid. You are the beauty in this world.
